St. Paul volleyball: Lady Cardinals come up short versus Bracken Christian

Yoakum volleyball: Lady Bulldogs sink Gonzales 3-0

Yoakum fell behind in its opening set Sept. 6 against Gonzales but rallied and won in three sets, 25-20, 25-13, 25-15. Lady Bulldogs head Kayla Natho wanted her team to keep the levels the same throughout a match. “I want us to keep our energy consistent,” she said.

Shiner Volleyball: JV Gold wins Flatonia Tournament

The Shiner junior varsity gold won the Flatonia Tournament last week with four wins. Shiner 2, Rice 0 Shiner swept Rice 25-10, 25-19 on Thursday.

Shiner JH Volleyball update

The Shiner Junior High volleyball teams took on Weimar ,Ganado  and Schulenburg, and played in the Schulenburg Tournament. Weimar 7th grade Shiner hosted their season opener against Weimar on Aug 25.  The 7th grade B team split sets with Weimar: 15-25 and 25-23. Leading serving was Tatum Carson.
