Yoakum football:Yoeman hands Yoakum 62-28 defeat

Yoakum cross country:Lady ‘Dogs win Lockhart meet

Yoakum cross-country teams ran in the Lockhart Hippensteel meet on Friday. The varsity girls won their division and the boys came in third place. Varsity Girls The Lady Bulldogs scored 33 points, beating second-place Lockhart by 32 points.

St. Paul Football: Cards rally for first win of season.

Zane Barta rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns to lead St. Paul to a comeback 38-35 win at San Antonio TMI on Friday. TMI was ahead 35-14 at halftime, St Paul outscored TMI 16-0 in the third and then scored early in the fourth quarter for the win.

Shiner Football: Shiner shuts down Industrial in rebounding from season-opening loss

After a surprising loss in their opener last week, Shiner needed to get back on track and rebound quickly. The Comanches got back on the right path and quickly as they downed the Industrial Cobras 47-0 Friday evening in their first home game at Comanche Stadium.
