Lady Brahmas post Sr. Night dub

The Lady Brahmas celebrated Sr. Night with a 7-1 victory over Palacios here Friday evening.Grace Halata pitched a complete game and ceded two hits, walked one, hit a batter and struck out eight as Hallettsville advanced to 17-9 overall and 11-2 in District 25-AAA.

Brahmas walk it off in victory over Cardinals

In a pitcher’s dual, the Brahmas took a huge 2-1 District 25-AAA victory over Columbus here Tuesday on a night veterans and first responders were honored.Hudson Chenard scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh inning for the margin of victory.

SEALY – The Indianettes pulled off a shocker with a 4-3 victory over No. 4 ranked Sealy Tuesday, April 7.Paelyn Etzler and Avery Beach combined for a four-hitter.Etzler worked the first four innings and gave up two hits, two runs, walked three and struck out five.

Shiner junior high track: Shiner Junior High track teams district meet results

The Shiner junior high track teams competed in the district meet last month in Weimar with the 8th grade girls claiming the district title.7th GirlsShiner tied for second with Ganado with 143 points.100 — 1st, Presley Pohler, 13.57; 2nd, Piper Wallace, 14.09; 9th, Emersyn Kusak, 15.47.

Shiner baseball: Shiner hands ‘Horns first district loss, produce the hits in 16-0 win vs Weimar

The Comanches had a dozen hits and scored 12 runs in a pivotal third inning to shut down Weimar 16-0 Friday at Green-Dickson Park.Shiner had 17 total hits, with nearly the entire lineup contributing.“We were swinging the bat today.
