The Sacred Heart Indianettes defeated two TAPPS District 5 Division IV opponents last week to set up the showdown with St. Paul which was played Tuesday night.SH downed Bulverde Bracken Christian School 41-29 here Tuesday, Jan. 30.

Tribe's third period rally leads to rout of Cubs

CARMINE – A big third quarter surge carried the Sacred Heart Indians to a 57-38 victory over Round Top-Carmine Friday night.The Indians had a onepoint lead at the half prior to a 20-1 run in the third quarter to take a 41-21 advantage into the final eight minutes.

Tribe 2-0 in District

The Sacred Heart Indians defeated St. Paul, 59-48 in Shiner Friday for their second TAPPS District 5 Division IV victory against no defeats.The Indians held a 14- 11 lead at the end of the first quarter with Hudson Kutac scoring 8 points.

The Sacred Heart Indianettes experienced some high and lows last week.SH opened TAPPS District 5 Division IV play by whipping Victoria Faith Academy, 38-22 here Tuesday, Jan. 14 before losing to St. Paul on the road Friday.

Indians 51, Tribe 32

After not playing for almost a month, the Sacred Heart Indians had to shake off some rust and did so with a 51-32 win over the Bastrop Tribe here Tuesday. Jan. 7Andrew Steffek led the victory with 14 points and Hudson Kutac scored 13 points.

'Nettes in a rout

The Victoria Gators were cannon fodder for the Sacred Heart Indianettes in their clash here Friday.SH walked away with a 40-8 victory over the brow beaten Gators here Friday.Ten Indianettes scored in the game with Heather Wilson’s 9 points leading the way.

Indianettes defeat Rice

WEIMAR – The Sacred Heart Indians defeated Altair Rice Consolidated, 31-22, for their lone victory in the Weimar Holiday Hoops Classic Friday.SH led 14-6 at the first break and expanded the lead to 24-11 at the half.

Indians have 8 All-District selections

The Sacred Heart Indians had eight players named to the TAPPS District 5, Division IV alldistrict football team.Slotback/Defensive back Hudson Kutac was a first team pick on offense and defense and Lance Barton as an offensive and defensive lineman.

Faculty nips Indianettes, 41-40

The Annual Indianettes vs. the Faculty contest came down to the wire.The Faculty eked out a 41-40 victory in the game played Thursday afternoon.The Faculty led 41-35 in the waning seconds before Mallory Mueller scored a bucket and Heather Wilson hit a three-pointer to close the gap to one.

St. Joseph 48, SH 26

The Sacred Heart Indianettes played Victoria on even terms for the first quarter before the Lady Flyers ran away and hid in the game played in the SH Gym Tuesday, Dec. 10.The teams were tied at 5-all after the first period before the roof caved in.
