Indians win overtime, 36-35

It was only fitting that the Sacred Heart-Round Top-Carmine game went to overtime.Either team could hit the side of a barn in regulation or OT before the Indians eked out a 36- 35 victory here Tuesday, Dec. 10.

SH chalks up two wins in Moulton

MOULTON – Hudson Kutac canned a careerhigh 33 points to lead the Sacred Heart Indians to their lone victory in the Katz and Kittens Tournament a 64-36 verdict over the Bastrop Tribe.Kutac made 16 points in the initial quarter as the Indians advanced to 5-4 on the season.

Indianettes in Moulton Tournament

Indians finish third in Faith Acad. Tourney

VICTORIA – The Sacred Heart Indians posted two wins and two losses to finish third in the Victoria Faith Academy Tournament Friday and Saturday.The Indians defeated the Victoria Cobras 53-48 in the first round Friday.Hudson Kutac poured in a game 21 points.

Indianettes lose season opener

Turnovers told the tale of Yoakum’s 50-34 victory over Sacred Heart in the season opener for the Indianettes here Tuesday, Nov. 19.SH could not get out of its own way with 41 turnovers in the contest to Yoakum’s 20.The difference was the Lady Bulldogs had just 6 floor errors in the second half.

Sacred Heart's chance of winning foiled by turnovers

GIDDINGS – There was no way Sacred Heart coach Alex Seydler ever envisioned his Indians turning the ball over five times in a game.Temple South Central Academy used the Indians’ miscues to take a 52-6 verdict over the Indians in a TAPPS Division IV playoff game at Buffalo Stadium Friday night.

Indians lose in double OT

TEMPLE –The Sacred Heart Indians might have preferred losing 50-0 rather than in double overtime to Central Texas Christian Friday.SH gave away the football on a fumble on its last possession to preserve a 26-20 victory for Temple Central Christian in a TAPPS District 5, Division IV.

Indianettes 'ace' first test

Sacred Heart literally “aced” its first test with a 25-8, 25-13, 25-14 TAPPS bi-district victory over Waco Bishop Reicher Catholic in the SH Gym Saturday evening.“Great start to our postseason. Nothing that happened throughout the season matters at this point.

SHCHS to celebrate Homecoming Saturday, Nov. 9

Sacred Heart Catholic High School will celebrate its 2024 homecoming on Saturday, Nov. 9.Homecoming festivities will begin on Friday, Nov. 8 with a pep rally set for 6 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Gymnasium.On Saturday, Nov. 9 events will start at 11:30 a.m.

Tribe defeats Rosehill Chrn.

TOMBALL – The Sacred Heart Indians made the 116.2 mile trek to Tomball worthwhile with a 34-13 victory over Rosehill Christian in a TAPPS District 5 Division IV game Friday night.Quarterback Andrew Steffek accounted for three touchdowns - two throwing and one running.
