Shiner track and field: Shiner thinclads win area championships

The Shiner girls and boys track teams each won the area mee Thursday in Flatonia and are sending several athletes to regionals later this week in Kingsville.GirlsThe Lady Comanches won the 27-28 area title with 112 points with runner-up Weimar getting 103 points.

St. Paul softball: Lady Cards softball go 1-1 against SAL, Sacred Heart

The St. Paul track and field teams went one and two at the TAPPS 3-2A championships April 7 at San Antonio Antonian College Prep. Shiner softball: LCs defeat Weimar to split season series

Shiner softball team completed the season sweep of Schulenburg and made amends for an earlier loss to Weimar with an 10-5 win in Weimar on Friday.

The St. Paul Cardinals swept a district home doubleheader against San Marcos Hill Country Christian 6-2 and 15-0 on April 8.St. Paul got six hits in the first game and around eight hits in the second contest.“We struggled hitting in the first game.

Shiner junior high track and field: Shiner JH girls track teams capture district championships

The Shiner junior high track teams competed in the district meet March 31 in Weimar with the 7th and 8th grade girls teams winning at least a share of the district championship.7th GirlsShiner won part of the district championship along with Weimar with each team scoring 214.5 points.
