The regular meeting of the Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting for Monday, March 24 was moved to Tuesday due to a district court trial being held in the district courtroom.
At Monday’s Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court meeting, the court acknowledged Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office employee, Darlene Stacy, who is retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. Stacy was presented the United States flag encased in a wooden frame. The flag had flown over the Lavaca County Courthouse and was folded by Hallettsville Cub Scout Pack 223. Court informed of Lavaca County Day at state Capitol

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting Monday morning and was informed of the upcoming Lavaca County Day at the Capitol.Prior to action agenda items, Lavaca County resident, Paul Yamarick, spoke before the court, regarding the event.

The Lavaca County Commissioners’ Court met in a regular meeting Monday morning, Dec. 23 and voted to continue the burn ban for the county.Lavaca EMS assistant chief Tim Decker reported the KBDI average for the county as of Monday is 647 with some areas having a 701 reading and others at 579.
