Tribe finishes District unscathed

BULVERDE – The Sacred Heart Indians finished TAPPS District Division IV undefeated after mauling Bulverde Bracken Christian School, 17-3, in five innings Friday.The Indians had a season high 16 hits with Hudson Kutac and Wade Shimek three each.Layne Sevcik pitched four innings to get the win.

Indians second in District Meet

The Sacred Heart Indians finished second in the TAPPS District 5 Division IV meet here Tuesday, April 9.The Indians won two relays and one other event.The 4x100 relay won first with the foursome made up of Cameron Cull, Brady Haas, Clayton Haas and Andrew Steffek.

Tribe wraps up District Title

The St. Paul-Sacred Heart game wasn’t exactly one for the ages, but instead a donnybrook.The Indians clinched the TAPPS District 5 Division IV championship with a 15-11 victory over the Cardinals here Wednesday, April 10.

Indians 2-0 in District

Sacred Heart notched its second TAPPS District 5 Division IV victory with a 9-1 victory over Bulverde Bracken Christian School here Friday.The issue was in doubt until the Indians scored seven runs in fifth inning in four hits, an error and four walks.

'Nettes whip St. Paul

The Sacred Heart Indianettes tore into St. Paul, 23-8, in a TAPPS District 5 Division IV game here Thursday.The Lady Cardinals took a 6-3 lead through three innings before SH went on a rampage with two runs in fourth inning and a big 10-run fifth.

Indians fend off Cardinals in district opener

The Sacred Heart Indians had to hold off St. Paul in the late innings to secure a 10-8 victory over the Cardinals in the TAPPS District 5 Division IV opener for both teams at the StarPlex Wednesday, March 27.

Indians lose to Comanches

Two errors and too many runners left on base told the story in the Sacred Hear Indians’ 4-0 loss to Shiner here Friday afternoon.The Comanches had just four hits. On the other hand, the Indians had only two hits and left seven on base.SH had no hits until the fifth inning.

Indianettes split

The Sacred Heart Indianettes split two games last week.The Indianettes (16-5-2) defeated Wallis Brazos, 14- 9, here Tuesday, March 19.The game appeared to be headed to a run-rule contest after the Indianettes had taken a 14-4 lead through four innings.

Indians win St. Paul Tournament

The Sacred Heart Indians won first place in the St. Paul Tournament held at Independence Park Golf Course in Gonzales Monday, March 11.The Indians shot a team total of 344 and were led by fifth medalist James Cesarz’s 82.
