AUSTIN - Austin Hyde Park hit five home runs in an 11-5 victory over Sacred Heart Tuesday, Feb. 25.The Lady Panthers hit five home runs in the contest, all five solo shots.Sacred Heart scored all of its runs in the sixth inning.

Shiner wins Sacred Heart Tournament

An eleventh hour rally fell short as Shiner edged the Sacred Heart Indians, 9-8, in the finals of the 39th Annual SH Tournament Saturday night.The Comanches led 9-2 entering the bottom of the seventh before SH scored six runs on two hits, two walks and a hit batsman.

'Nettes finish 2nd

The Sacred Heart Indianettes finished second in its Second Annual Booster Club Tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday.Shiner finished first, Yoakum third, Austin Hyde Park fourth and Tidehaven fifth.A 5-0 loss to Tidehaven prevented the Indianettes from taking the championship.

SUGAR LAND – The Sacred Heart Indians’ season came to an end with an 89-32 loss to Galveston O’Connell in a TAPPS Division IV regional finals game at B.F. Terry High School Saturday.The Buccaneers took a 24-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and were never headed.

Indians defeat Reicher in Bi-District

WACO – The cream rose to the top as the Sacred Heart Indians headed the ship in the right direction with a 65-54 TAPPS Division IV bi-district victory over Bishop Waco Reicher Friday.The win snapped the Indians’ four-game losing at the right time.

Indianettes wallop Waco Bishop Reicher

The Sacred Heart Indianettes hosted Bishop Waco Reicher in a TAPPS Division IV and blew away the Lady Cougars 49-18 Saturday afternoon.Reicher committed 34 turnovers.Although SH shooting was off, it didn’t matter.The Indianettes led 15-2 at the end of the first period.

Tribe's third period rally leads to rout of Cubs

CARMINE – A big third quarter surge carried the Sacred Heart Indians to a 57-38 victory over Round Top-Carmine Friday night.The Indians had a onepoint lead at the half prior to a 20-1 run in the third quarter to take a 41-21 advantage into the final eight minutes.
