Indians garner second win in a row over St. Paul, 28-6

SP hands Indianettes first district loss

'Nettes 3-0 in district

The Sacred Heart Indianettes are getting closer to getting their heads above water after posting two district victories last week.The latest was a 25-17, 25-6, 25-17 sweep of Victoria Faith Academy here Thursday.Sacred Heart upped its record to 11-12 and 3-0 with the two wins.

Indians dispatch Kipp Houston, 44-24

The Sacred Heart Indians scored just about every way imaginable in annexing a 44-24 victory over KIPP Houston here Friday.The Indians scored two safeties, had a kickoff return for a touchdown, and rushing and passing touchdowns.

SH cops district opener

Sacred Heart swept Bulverde Bracken Christian 25-14, 25-23, 25-12 in its TAPPS opener here Tuesday, Sept. 17.The Indianettes (9-12, 1-0) had a slight hiccup in the second set. “We dominated in sets 1 and 3 and in set 2 they almost got us,” Indianettes head coach Orsak said.

Flyers eke out 14-13 victory over Indians

A missed extra point was the difference in the Sacred Heart Indians’ 14- 13 loss here Friday night to Victoria St. Joseph.The Indians (2-2) had a chance to go ahead in the fourth quarter before giving up the ball on the Flyer 25-yard line with 4:57 to play.

Indians come back from 13-point deficit edge Flatonia, 21-20

FLATONIA–Trailing 20-7 at halftime, the Sacred Heart Indians looked lost at sea.But the Indians showed a lot of grit and determination and rallied to take a 21-20 victory over Flatonia at Bulldog Stadium Friday night.

SHINER – The Sacred Heart Indians dropped to 3-5 on the season after losing to Shiner 25-22, 25-11, 25-21 Tuesday, Aug. 20.“We were a very up and down team. We will play tough and then turn around and give away points,” head coach Wanda Orsak said.
